Requirements to beat the Kraken Boss OSRS
For OSRS Kraken you need minimum level 87 Slayer to kill him, you must be on the Slayer task to kill OSRS Kraken and you need to have at least 50 magic to have OSRS Kraken as a task. But it will be best if you have 75 magic or higher to equip the correct staves.
Location of the Kraken OSRS
The Kraken is located in the Kraken Cove, you can get there by using Piscatoris teleport scroll. After that, the teleport will take you just outside of the Piscatora fishing colony, head southwest until you reach the Kraken Cove. When you enter the Kraken cove go straight north to where you will find the Kraken boss lair.
Creating a Kraken Instance
You can create a Kraken instance but you have to pay 25,000 coins, you don’t need to carry coins on you to create the instance. The advantage of this instance is that dropped items stay on the ground for a longer period of time. Normally, items disappear after two minutes upon being dropped and other players can see it after one minute.
But this is not an issue if instancing, because the dropped items disappear in 30 minutes within the Kraken Cove instance. As the Kraken regularly drops a generous amount of food in the form of 5 edible seaweed or 5 sharks, the instance makes it a lot easier for the player to juggle these food sources before they disappear.
When you create an instance it will last until you leave or logs out. This means if you die the instance will collapse, and you will lose all the items upon death, so an emergency teleport is highly recommended.
Equipment and Food
Slayer helmet, Occult necklace, Imbued god cape, Ancestral robe top, Ancestral robe bottom, Harmonised nightmare staff In combination with Fire Surge and tome of fire, Elysian spirit shield, Kebbit bolts If you are using the Hunters’ crossbow to disturb the Enormous Tentacles otherwise Rada’s blessing 4 or God blessing.
Also, Tormented bracelet, Eternal boots, and Ring of suffering. For your inventory and food bring 20 sharks, Ava’s assembler, Hunters’ crossbow, Prayer potion, Rune pouch with Air runes, Wrath runes, and Nature runes, Imbued heart.
What Should You Do When Fighting The Kraken
For OSRS Kraken you should use Magic attack style to fight him because he is highly resistant to Ranged and immune to Melee since he cannot be reached by Melee attacks.
To disturb OSRS Kraken and start the fight you must attack the four small whirlpools and then attack the central larger whirlpool. The smaller whirlpools will change into four enormous tentacles, and then the central whirlpool will change into the Kraken itself.
Through the fight, you will be attacked by the four enormous tentacles and by the OSRS Kraken. He will attack you with a typeless magical ranged attack, which means that protection prayers will not have any effect.
The max hit of this attack is 28, and they are not very accurate. But the speed of the Kraken attacks is about every 2.4 seconds and the same can be said about the Kraken’s enormous tentacles.
Everyone that brings an imbued heart should pray Preserve. But if you have low Magic and/or Defence you may consider praying Augury or Mystic Might to increase your magical defense.
