For today’s article we are going to talk about OSRS The Golem quest, the story behind this OSRS The Golem quest is very interesting. Why? Because it’s about an ancient clay golem who is left all alone in the ruins of the once-great city of Uzer. Long ago the city of Uzer was defended by an army of clay golems.
But was destroyed at the hands of the demon Thammaron, the only thing left after the destruction of the city is this forgotten badly damaged clay golem. You must use this golem to find the truth behind the city’s destruction and add the final chapter to that story.

Repairing The Golem
To start OSRS The Golem quest you need to go to the Ruins of Uzer by using a Necklace of passage teleport to Eagles’ Eyrie and then run southeast towards the city or run south from Al Kharid and then head east from Shantay pass. Also, you can use the fairy ring code DLQ and run north-east.
Once you are there in the western building you should see a letter on the ground, pick it up, and read it. Talk to the golem, he will tell you that he is damaged so ask him “shall I try to repair you?”. The golem will say that “Repairs… needed”, use the 4 soft clay pieces on the broken clay golem, and he will be repaired.
He will tell you that he was programmed to destroy a powerful demon, Thammaron. You need to help him slay the demon. Make sure to ask him how to open the portal. Go down into the dungeon, on the eastern corner next to the stairs you will find black mushrooms, pick one up and use it on the pestle and mortar.
That way you will get black mushroom ink, next go to the Digsite east of Varrock. You need to talk to Elissa in the north-eastern part of the Digsite and tell her that you found a letter in the desert with her name on it. She will tell you about her late husband’s notes and where they are located.
Head to the Exam Centre straight to the south of the Digsite and search the most south-eastern bookcase to find Varmen’s notes, and when you find the notes read them. Go to the Varrock Museum and ask Curator Haig Halen on the ground floor about a missing statuette.
Make sure that you have the strange implement in your inventory before you ask the Curator about the statuette. Then, pickpocket him to get a display cabinet key, run east to the staircase and climb up to the second floor. Start counting the display cases, in the fourth one is the statuette.
Returning to Uzer
Use the key on the fourth display cabinet to take the statuette, now go back to Uzer. use your Necklace of passage teleport to Eagles’ Eyrie and if you don’t have a phoenix feather you should find a phoenix next to the mining sign. Make sure to have 25 thieving, and grab one of the phoenix feathers.
Once you have it go to Uzer, use your black mushroom ink on the phoenix feather to get a phoenix quill pen. Go inside the dungeon and stand in the middle (or center) of the dungeon. On the southeastern corner of the wall use the statuette on the empty alcove and turn all of the statuette north to face the double doors to unlock the demon’s lair.
Next, run north and enter into the demon’s lair and you will see that the demon Thammaron is dead from his wounds from the battle long ago. If you want to get an extra reward run north and use your chisel and hammer on the throne to get six gems that you can keep.
Exit through the portal and head to the northwestern room (or side of the dungeon) where you will find a strange implement on the floor. Take it and go outside to the clay golem and talk to him, he was not programmed to believe that the demon is dead, so you’ll need to reprogram him.
Use your phoenix quill pen on the papyrus to write a Golem program, then use the strange implement on the golem. Use the papyrus on him as well and your quest will be completed.
